Fyrwood
How it works

A load's journey, in four steps.

Tree crews need a place for logs. Firewood businesses need raw wood. We match the two and coordinate the drop by text.

  1. Logs loaded on a trailer at a jobsiteI. Request

A crew finishes a removal and requests a drop.

Text the dispatcher where you are and what you have: wood type, size and a photo of the load.

  2. Long logs strapped on a trailerII. Match

We find a nearby site that wants that wood.

Every drop site has its own needs. We match the load to a site that accepts that species and size.

  3. Dump truck unloading logsIII. Deliver

Timing and directions are confirmed by text.

You get the drop address and instructions before you roll. Don't drop until you have a confirmed address.

  4. Logs stacked at a firewood yardIV. Record

The drop is logged, and the wood becomes firewood.

Text a photo when you're done. The drop is recorded, and the producer turns the logs into firewood.

For tree companies

The fastest way to a drop is a text to our dispatcher. Prefer an account? Register and request drops from the app.

  1. 01Text your load info. Location, wood type, approximate size, and a photo of the load. A photo helps us confirm faster.
  2. 02We text back the closest accepting site. You get the drop address, delivery instructions and a photo of the drop location if we have one.
  3. 03Drop per the instructions. Unload in the designated area, then text a photo when you're done.

For firewood businesses

Need wood? Tell us what you want.

Fill out a short request with your location and the wood you're looking for. We send matching loads your way as crews in your area finish jobs.

  1. 01Request wood. Tell us where your yard is and what species and sizes you accept.
  2. 02Get matched. When a nearby load fits, we call or text to confirm first. Nothing arrives without your permission.
  3. 03Receive the drop. You don't need to be on site. You get a photo before delivery and a confirmation photo after. Once accepted, a drop is final.

After the drop

Every drop, on the record.

Photo confirmation

The finished drop is photographed and shared with the producer, so everyone knows the load landed where it should.

Drop record

Each drop is logged with where the wood came from and where it went.
